The truth is going viral can be great, but it can also be a dud if you aren’t prepared for what happens when your profile is flooded with people looking for who you are, what you do and what kind of content you create.

Your bio, your link, your pinned posts, those are the things that turn a spike in views into actual followers who stick around.

Get those right first. Then let the content do its thing.
Save this for when you’re ready to audit your profile and drop a comment if you want me to take a look at yours.

4 Ways to Style Black and White Pants

{This post is sponsored by Perfectly Priscilla Boutique}

It’s the end of September and I wanted to wrap up the month showing you 4 ways to style black and white pants.

In the past I have talked about the importance of knowing an item will fit into your existing wardrobe before purchasing it. There is no point to getting things if they won’t work with what you already own. Although I love pattern, texture and color I was a little nervous about these black and white striped pants when I saw them on the Perfectly Priscilla website.

I liked them but I didn’t know how I would utilize them with what I already owned…. So I went shopping in my closet!

Tee and a Cardigan

This was the first outfit I picked. I always keep tees on hand for casual outfits and the cardigan was perfect for fall. I love this combination and I think out of the four outfits this is my favorite.

Mixing Pattern

When I buy anything with a pattern the first thing I know I am going to do is try to mix it with another pattern. I grabbed this top that I have been planning to use for some Christmas content and thought it would be a fun mix.

Oversized Sweater

Fall and winter are the time to pull out those warm sweaters. I chose this one because the one shoulder gave me a boho vibe I was getting from the pants. I also loved that it was fitted at the waist.

Moto Jacket and Vintage Tee

Vintage tees are a good thing to have on hand if you want to take a dressy outfit and give it a little edge. This outfit would be perfect for date night or a grabbing drinks with your friends.

No matter how you choose to style an outfit there will always be options in your existing wardrobe. Make sure to check your closet before purchasing something you may already have. Also, remember to have fun! Fashion isn’t about rules, it’s about wearing things that you like!

XO,

Tiffany

Being the emcee of Hammers and Heels for the last Being the emcee of Hammers and Heels for the last five years has been one of the greatest pleasures in my life. The first time I went to the event I knew I wanted to be involved. One because I love fashion but two because I sat by a future Habitat homeowner and that conversation changed me. I have always had a heart for affordable housing but this event gave me a tangible way of helping with that issue.

When they asked me to start emceeing it was an immediate yes because who says no to being able to dress up and dance on stage in front of a bunch of screaming women.

I am excited to remain involved with this event but cannot wait to see someone new wrangling these ladies in their seats each year as the emcee. It’s only going to keep getting better and better and raising more and more money because the staff at Habitat and this committee of women are incredible. Literally.
