In early 2024 I rebranded from We Five Kings to Ti In early 2024 I rebranded from We Five Kings to Tiffany King Creative.

I knew I wanted to shift toward fashion and personal branding but I was not sure how to make that change without losing what I had already built. So I kept creating and sat with it for a while.

In June 2025 I made the move. I added one digital marketing post per week. One post. Same cadence. Just a new direction layered in.

The engagement on those posts was lower. It was noticeable and honestly it was uncomfortable. But I had made a commitment to give it time and I kept going.

Here is what I want you to know about making a content shift.

There will be a dip. That is not a sign to stop. That is just the algorithm and your audience catching up to where you are going. You have to decide before you start how long you are going to commit to the change. Because if you abandon the plan after one week because the numbers scared you, you will never know what was on the other side.

What was on the other side for me was people using my content in their businesses. Followers coming in specifically because of the digital marketing posts. Real feedback from real people telling me it was helping them.

And the newsletters. Shifting my newsletters to match the digital focus has been the biggest benefit of the entire change. Getting that content straight into someone’s inbox is a different kind of connection than a post in a feed.

Create content that is consistent with what is actually happening in your life and your business. Your community will shift and grow with you.

But only if you give them something real to find.

Save this for the next time you are afraid to make a change.

Fall Jewelry with Virtue

{This post is sponsored by Virtue, LLC.  All thoughts, opinions and choices are mine.}

Virtue LLC, owner of the brands Virtue Jewelry and Luxe by Virtue, opened a website.  Until now the company has been wholesale only so if you wanted a piece you had to find it in a boutique.  The launch of their website was an exciting surprise but just opened up their amazing jewelry lines to anyone at a click of THIS button.

This week you can get an extra 20% off of your purchase by using KING20 at Checkout.  But before you start shopping let me tell you a little more and give you some suggestions on my favorite pieces.  Like these beauties!

The Brand.

I have been drawn to Tracy Kopfinger’s jewelry for years.  I still have the first piece of jewelry I ever got from her.  It’s a cross on a gold chain and it feels like a million years ago.  I have seen the brand change a lot over the years.  Tracy really seems to be able to anticipate the changes in trends before they become mainstream.  She is the perfect combination of artist and business woman.

I am excited to see this new development in her brand.  The website makes her jewelry available to, well, everyone!  As a friend I am so proud of her and as a blogger I am just excited to be able to feature her pieces in a place where you can order them.

I had the opportunity to go and pull a few pieces to feature on the blog this week.  Going to her studio is a treat.  A lot of creativity happens in that small space!

What Should You Shop.

When I stopped by the showroom last week I took some time to pick out a few new things that I think y’all would like but would also be versatile and fun for the fall.  First up, Game Day!

These acrylic earrings are light and fun and definitely a new trend for Virtue.  I love the tortoise shell look in this purple and gold color.  These earring would be perfect for tailgating because they are so light you won’t even feel you are wearing anything.  Currently these are available on Facebook so if you want to get your hands on them click here.

This is another potential game day look.  I love finding things to wear to Saints games that will work in my regular wardrobe.  It’s like getting double use out of something. Earrings // Necklace

The Perfect Fall Set.

This little set are the perfect go to fall pieces.  The mixed metal earrings will match most of your existing pieces while the orange glass bracelets will be the perfect pop of color for the next few months and into the spring.  This chevron choker comes in a variety of colors but we are super partial to the mustard.  Finally the two toned mixed metal nugget bracelets need to be on the necessity list.  These bracelets are my go to no matter what I am wearing and what season it is.  They are perfect with everything and easy to wear.

Multi color.  Multi ways.

I mixed the necklace from my gameday set up with these acrylic earrings.  The acrylics that Virtue is offering this fall is kind of endless.  I especially liked these because they were multi colored and would go with a variety of things.  Also, the fact that they were light enough they will work all the way to next spring and summer.

My Haul.

All of the choices I made are easily interchangeable for all of your fall needs from work to gameday to date night.  The line is always versatile and I was glad to see that that extended beyond the colors this year.  The textures and shapes make the line fine while being very cohesive.  Things we have come to expect from Virtue.

So the 20% off will be available online all week.  Enter KING20 at checkout and it will take 20% off of your entire purchase.

Also, be looking forward to a little giveaway.  I won’t tell you when but it will be happening on Instagram this week!

XO,

Tippy

Yesterday I sat down for a meeting about a holiday Yesterday I sat down for a meeting about a holiday collaboration (PS I am so excited to show y’all!)

It is August and that is not early. That is right on time.

Most people start thinking about holiday content in October. By then you have already missed brand collab deadlines, photographer availability, and Pinterest’s content window. The creators and small businesses that win the holiday season start planning now.

Here is what your August should look like:

-Pitch brands you want to work with — they are finalizing budgets right now
-Book your holiday shoot — photographers fill up fast in the fall
-Get your Halloween content on Pinterest — it needs 60 days to develop, that window is now
-Start mapping your anchor dates and working backwards

The collab I met about yesterday has a hard deadline of October 7th. That is 2.5 months before Christmas. Paid collabs have a process: outreach, contracts, approvals, posting. There is no rushing that timeline.

And here is something most people do not think about. Online buying starts plateauing around December 15th. If you are an affiliate seller or an online business your sales need to happen before that date. Local businesses have a little more runway but do not rely on it.

Christmas content needs to be on Pinterest no later than October.

Your holiday shoot needs to happen in September.
Your brand pitches need to go out now.

The holiday season is closer than you think.

Save this and open your calendar today.
