Passing the time on a road trip can be tricky. Even though the kids have their own devices, keeping everyone entertained is still a challenge. One strategy I’ve found effective is giving them a small allowance to spend at Buc-ee’s for every 30 minutes they get along in the car. Desperate times call for desperate measures sometimes!
Our family loves a good game! Some of our favorites in the car include the license plate game, where we compete to find the plate from the furthest distance or count the most plates from our home state. My mom and I used to play the alphabet game, where you look for words on signs that start with each letter of the alphabet in order from A to Z. If you’re heading to the beach in Alabama or Florida this summer, we always challenge each other to see who can hold their breath through the Mobile tunnel. I mean, did you even go to the beach if you didn’t do that?
Burning time in the car can be a little simpler this summer with King Kid approved bingo.
Road Trip Bingo
The kids love this, and we still play it! I try to keep it fun and not a competition, but it always turns into me being the referee. Either way it keeps us busy and since I am the referee I always win. Jokes.
Summer Bingo
This is a great one if you are wanting to do a summer bucket list. This is something the kids can keep up with all summer long and even bring to school in the fall to show their class all the fun things they did this summer.
Field Trip Friday Bingo
We love a good Field Trip Friday! This is one we used to use to keep up with all of the adventures we went on. Each kid got to fill it out and then bring it to school in the fall.
Kids are wild and keeping them entertained can be wilder. Hope this helps!

Tiffany
