Another glorious morning… Makes Me SICK!
Did you watch the new Hocus Pocus this weekend? I am hearing a lot of mixed reviews. I know the cult following runs hard with that movie so in my opinion expectations were high. Either way, love it or hate it, October is the perfect season for a spooky movie night.
Full transparency I didn’t watch the first Hocus Pocus until last week. I know… It is almost blasphemous with how much I love Halloween, but it is true. I thought it was really cute and have no idea why we have not watched it sooner.
We don’t do family movie nights as much as I would like but now that the nights are getting cooler, and the sun is setting earlier it feels like the perfect weekend treat. I came up with a fun list of movies that I think should make your list this Halloween season.

Photo shoot details
This was my Halloween dream in real life. I have always wanted to have a styled Halloween shoot like this. Last year I had big plans for a shoot, and it was messed up with Ida. This year I was able to shoot 4 over the top costumes by myself and also did one shoot with the kids. It was amazing and I just love how creative shoots like this allow me to be. Also, getting to spend half a day with other creatives working on this shoot was fantastic.
I started talking to Stephanie at Fluff Gourmet in the summer about this shoot. I saw her do fairy floss (cotton candy) wigs for Bastille Day in New Orleans and it looked like so much fun. She was a wizard. It took about 20 minutes for her to construct the wig. Follow them on Instagram.
Sara Sinclair was my second call to book The Inn at La Provance for the shoot. We shot all of my 2022 Halloween content at their beautiful location in Lacombe. Follow them on Instagram.
Rachel is my girl for all things photo and helped with the Reels too. She is amazing and has a great list of options for mini sessions this year. Follow her on Instagram.
Stay Spooky,
Tiffany
