My home changes a lot for the holidays. I like it to look like each room has been kissed with touches of Christmas. We all walk into a lot of homes during the holiday season for dinners and parties and get togethers. I love mine to feel cozy, warm and most of all inviting. Welcome to Our Holiday Home….
My Christmas décor remains pretty traditional year after year. I add a few little things each year but the overall theme is classic. There are a lot of trends that come with decorating for the holidays. I like to find small ways to incorporate that into my overall Christmas without changing the entire theme each year.
Things that always stay the same are my garland, my Christmas tree collection and displaying our Christmas Cards from years past. Things that change are the ornaments as we add some each year, table runners and the placement of my décor.
We still need to do our annual Christmas ornament shopping adventure with the kids but other than that we are sitting back and enjoying our work…
Our Holiday Home 2020…
This year my theme was mixing textures and plaids. I found these two different plaid ribbons at Hobby Lobby and decided to incorporate the both. Mixing pattern is my specialty so it made sense to use it in my holiday décor too. Last year I had both trees on one side of the mantle and this year I decided to put them on either side. Let me know which way you like it better.
2019…
This year I added a second tree in the living room, the bottle brush trees on the mantle and I got some new mugs for the hot chocolate bar. That’s it! Everything else is from the archives we’ll say.
We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Our 2017 Holiday Home

Tiffany
