One week out from hosting Justin’s 50th birthday d One week out from hosting Justin’s 50th birthday dinner and emceeing Hammers & Heels, so today officially kicked off my beauty marathon.

Started with a facial at The Ritual Co., and yes, I’m here for the glow… but honestly, the real win was an uninterrupted hour to sit still, be taken care of, and fully relax.
Learning to love your body isn’t a linear journey Learning to love your body isn’t a linear journey and it often doesn’t have a clear and definitive end. I’ve worked for the better part of a decade on my relationship with my body. I’ve done a lot of work. I’ve honored her, encouraged her, I’ve chosen to see her as good. It’s been an intentional journey to really break down and know my body is good, just as it it.

But just when I think I have evolved past being critical of myself I go to try on swimsuits and boom I’m back. This past weekend I went to try on swimsuits. It was a last minute decision and I just popped in a store. I talked to an associate and realized she was picking things and putting them into a fitting room for me. I could feel my pulse starting to race. Initially I was frustrated with myself for feeling insecure about trying on suits but then I remembered that this is a journey. I politely told the sales associate that I just didn’t think I was ready to try on. In the kindest way she said, it’s fine, I’ll mark some things down and when you feel ready just come back.

I’m telling you this story because sometimes it’s easy to look at people who share their lives online and think they some how have mastered living themselves in a way that you can never achieve. The truth is that for many people it’s something we still struggle with from time to time.

Just remind yourself that like most things in life there is no medal for being the most secure person in the room. Give yourself grace and just repeat after me, my body is good just as it is.

First, try things. You are going to be stuck if you always go with a comfortable formula.

Second, if YOU think YOU look good then go with it. You don’t need someone else seal of approval.

Outfit Details; What a Dream Maxi Dress

A lot of things make me happy but spring is definitely one of them. Easter feels like it just may be normal this year which is so exciting. I wanted to do a little round up of fun items you can still get in time. With a little more than a week to go I’ve got everything you need from Perfectly Priscilla Boutique.

Purple is always a good choice for spring! This shade is so vibrant and bold too and I love the straps. Accessorize it with gold necklaces and a boater hat and you are set for Easter Sunday.

Similar to seersucker eyelet is also a perfect fabric for spring. This top will work well with jeans or a floral skirt and even could be topped with a lightweight blazer.

Mint is another one of my favorite colors for spring. I love to see it mixed with coral for the summer too. The neckline on this dress is also gorgeous and I could see it styled with a white belt.

Easter may be dressy but I like having a flat for those Easter Egg hunts. This hot pink slide is perfect.

Navy is a beautiful neutral for spring and the polka dots make this dress preppy and fun. Added bonus is the knot on the top of the dress and the sweetheart neckline. Both are feminine and make the dress even more of a showstopper.

My theory is when you see a white dress, buy it. There is always an opportunity that pops up in the spring and summer for you to wear a white dress and like the unicorns they are it is not always easy to find one when you need it. Especially if you are a bride this dress would be worth the investment.

Rompers are cute and the shorts are never a bad option when running around with kids. I love the icy blue color of this one and the small sleeve. Pair it with a some sandals or sneakers and it will be just fantastic.

I hope this helps you get those last minute looks together for Easter and all of spring! Have a wonderful Easter holiday and make sure to tag me in your Easter pictures on Instagram.

Tiffany
