I am always looking for something new and fun to do with my health and wellness routine. It is easy to get bored with the same ole same ole so it is good to have an opportunity to mix it up now and then which is why I was so excited to do this review of the Trainer Tote!
I heard that local wellness coach and personal trainer, Emily Ruffino, was working on a new health related subscription box a few months back. They approached the blog and asked us to try it out and write a review. In full disclosure this post is sponsored by Trainer Tote. All of the opinions in this post are mine.
I received my box a little less than a month ago. Included were…
- a jump rope
- Smart Pop popcorn
- Wildtree spices to make a full Mexican meal (salsa, guacamole and tacos)
- a card to download my meal plan
- a card to download my workout plan
- Body wipes for the gym
- Vermont Pepperoni Turkey Stick
First Impressions… I was impressed with how many things were in the box. I wasn’t sure what all would be included so I was happy to see that there was a good variety of snacks as well as meals and also exercise.
Cost… $49 1 month / $145 3 months / $275 6 months
Things I loved… I really liked that I could go online and download the menu and workouts for the month. I think this was one of the best assets of the box for me. The workouts and menu will change monthly meaning that it will be tough for you to get into a rut before they change again.
Things I didn’t love… nothing really. Well other than the fact that they sent me a jump rope. Anyone who knows me well knows I’m not jumping rope. Ha. But maybe this will make me try it. At least I can do it in the privacy of my home.
Reasons I would subscribe… I think the menu and workouts will keep me subscribing. I am always looking for new food ideas and especially workouts in the gym too. I would benefit the most from those items but the Wildtree spice packages and recipes are also a huge bonus.
Why I trust this product… Emily Ruffino is someone who is well educated in health and wellness as well as her time working as a personal trainer. I know that offering quality products and advice is going to be her first priority. It is easy to trust someone who you know has a whole food focus on health.
