Wearing Sequin Joggers

I would think that most people would say that sequins are reserved for New Years Eve, Mardi Gras and Fancy Nights out. Well I’m not everyone so I am here to tell you more about how sequins can be for any day…

I purchased these sequin joggers in the Stella Dallas sale last spring. It was the last of their winter collection and it was all on mega markdown. Even though I knew it would be a good 6 months plus before I would be able to wear them something told me to get them. Especially because there was only one pair and they were in my size.

These would be the perfect pants for a holiday party or even a more laid back New Years Eve but I found several occasions to wear them during December. Surprisingly their pair really well with a plain shirt and booties. I have worn them with a Christmas t-shirt and open toed booties for a Christmas Breakfast that we attended. Because the sequins are a muted gold they have a more casual quality to them. I know you are thinking that I am crazy that I just said sequins and casual in the same sentence but it’s the truth.

Fact is that if we all decide to make casual sequins a thing it would be the next trend and I am completely ok with that.
