I know the holiday has passed, but I wanted to get this on here so you can look back next year and feel inspired to celebrate in your own way.
I have an amazing group of friends—like, seriously, sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve them. Two years ago, I was invited to a last-minute dinner right before Christmas. I almost didn’t go. Life was hectic, Christmas was just around the corner, and honestly, it didn’t feel like something I should take the time for. But I went anyway, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

This group of women is supportive, kind, fun, and full of life. Over the past two years, our gatherings have become something I truly look forward to. Celebrating each other is always a priority, so we make it a point to come together for birthdays, Christmas, and of course, Galentine’s Day.
Now, in case you need a refresher—Valentine’s Day is February 14th, and Galentine’s is February 13th. Well, this year, we celebrated on February 12th because that’s what worked best for everyone.
Since we love a good themed event, someone in our group always takes a turn hosting. This year, my friend Ashley and I teamed up to host Galentine’s, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The new Habaneros in Mandeville let us use their private dining room, and it was the ideal setting for a night filled with laughter, love, and celebration.

The private dining room had a moody, intimate feel, and we were obsessed with the leopard print chairs—so naturally, we leaned into all the shades of red for our decor. To make the night even more special, we put together a little gift for each guest: a small box of chocolates, a chocolate rose, and the cutest heart-shaped sunnies.
And because no gathering is complete without a little fun, we played one of our favorite group games—a purse exchange! It was such a hit and added the perfect touch of excitement to the evening.

XO,
Tiffany
