In early 2024 I rebranded from We Five Kings to Ti In early 2024 I rebranded from We Five Kings to Tiffany King Creative.

I knew I wanted to shift toward fashion and personal branding but I was not sure how to make that change without losing what I had already built. So I kept creating and sat with it for a while.

In June 2025 I made the move. I added one digital marketing post per week. One post. Same cadence. Just a new direction layered in.

The engagement on those posts was lower. It was noticeable and honestly it was uncomfortable. But I had made a commitment to give it time and I kept going.

Here is what I want you to know about making a content shift.

There will be a dip. That is not a sign to stop. That is just the algorithm and your audience catching up to where you are going. You have to decide before you start how long you are going to commit to the change. Because if you abandon the plan after one week because the numbers scared you, you will never know what was on the other side.

What was on the other side for me was people using my content in their businesses. Followers coming in specifically because of the digital marketing posts. Real feedback from real people telling me it was helping them.

And the newsletters. Shifting my newsletters to match the digital focus has been the biggest benefit of the entire change. Getting that content straight into someone’s inbox is a different kind of connection than a post in a feed.

Create content that is consistent with what is actually happening in your life and your business. Your community will shift and grow with you.

But only if you give them something real to find.

Save this for the next time you are afraid to make a change.

Dopamine Dressing: 10 colors to wear in January and February

As the winter months settle in and the days grow shorter, the lack of sunlight and constant gray skies can really impact my mood. But don’t worry—there’s a fun, fashion-forward way to beat those winter blues: dopamine dressing!

Dopamine dressing is all about choosing colors that spark joy and elevate your mood. Bold, bright hues can instantly boost your spirits! When you wear vibrant shades, you’re not just making a fashion statement—you’re giving your brain a little happiness boost. And what better time to embrace these cheerful tones than during the gray, dreary months of January and February?

Here are 10 fabulous colors I am trying to incorporate into my wardrobe during these gray months:

  1. Sunny Yellow: A burst of sunshine on a cloudy day, yellow is known to evoke feelings of happiness and warmth. Try a yellow sweater or accessorize with a mustard-yellow scarf to brighten up any outfit.
  2. Blush Pink: This soft and delicate shade of pink brings a sense of calmness and elegance. A blush pink sweater or a flowy blouse can add a subtle yet cheerful touch to your winter wardrobe. This color exudes a gentle charm and pairs beautifully with various outfits, offering a sophisticated and soothing alternative to brighter hues
  3. Royal Blue: Regal and serene, royal blue brings a sense of calmness while remaining strikingly beautiful. A royal blue dress or a statement blazer can add sophistication to your look.
  4. Emerald Green: Symbolizing renewal and vitality, emerald green is a refreshing choice. Incorporate it into your wardrobe with a cozy green sweater or a pair of elegant green trousers.
  5. Vivid Purple: Purple has long been associated with creativity and imagination. Add a touch of flair with a purple scarf, blouse, or even statement accessories like earrings or a handbag.
  6. Cheerful Orange: Like a burst of citrus, orange radiates energy and enthusiasm. A pop of orange in the form of a jacket or a fun pair of shoes can instantly uplift your mood.
  7. Magenta Pink: This bold and vibrant shade of pink exudes confidence and femininity. Consider a magenta sweater or a chic pink skirt to add a playful touch to your outfits.
  8. Turquoise: Reminiscent of tropical waters, turquoise brings a sense of tranquility. Experiment with a turquoise top or a pair of earrings to add a refreshing vibe to your look.
  9. Sunny Coral: A delightful blend of pink and orange, coral is both playful and sophisticated. A coral dress or a cardigan can add a cheerful touch to your winter wardrobe.
  10. Bright Teal: Teal combines the calming properties of blue with the rejuvenating qualities of green. Incorporate this color with a cozy teal scarf or a stylish top.

Just a few of my shopping picks for these colors…

Remember, you don’t have to go all-in with bold colors if that’s not your style. Even small accents or accessories can add a pop of vibrancy to your outfit and brighten your mood.

This January and February, tap into the magic of dopamine dressing. Let your wardrobe become a source of positivity, bringing bursts of color and joy to even the gloomiest days. Don’t be afraid to experiment with lively hues—you might be surprised at how they uplift both your style and your spirits.

XO,

Tiffany
