In early 2024 I rebranded from We Five Kings to Ti In early 2024 I rebranded from We Five Kings to Tiffany King Creative.

I knew I wanted to shift toward fashion and personal branding but I was not sure how to make that change without losing what I had already built. So I kept creating and sat with it for a while.

In June 2025 I made the move. I added one digital marketing post per week. One post. Same cadence. Just a new direction layered in.

The engagement on those posts was lower. It was noticeable and honestly it was uncomfortable. But I had made a commitment to give it time and I kept going.

Here is what I want you to know about making a content shift.

There will be a dip. That is not a sign to stop. That is just the algorithm and your audience catching up to where you are going. You have to decide before you start how long you are going to commit to the change. Because if you abandon the plan after one week because the numbers scared you, you will never know what was on the other side.

What was on the other side for me was people using my content in their businesses. Followers coming in specifically because of the digital marketing posts. Real feedback from real people telling me it was helping them.

And the newsletters. Shifting my newsletters to match the digital focus has been the biggest benefit of the entire change. Getting that content straight into someone’s inbox is a different kind of connection than a post in a feed.

Create content that is consistent with what is actually happening in your life and your business. Your community will shift and grow with you.

But only if you give them something real to find.

Save this for the next time you are afraid to make a change.

What to shop that isn’t the NSale?

Have you noticed how your Instagram feed is flooded with Nordstrom Sale posts? I used to think I needed to join the frenzy because it promised THE BEST DEALS. However, over time, I realized that while the NSale is good, many items remain available and go on sale again in the fall. I stopped getting caught up in the hype and began exploring other retailers for great finds.

Let’s talk about what I used to hunt for during the NSale each year. There were a few must-haves on my list: jackets, jeans, basics, and fall trends. While I still believe Nordstrom is a fantastic place to shop, I want to share some of my favorite alternatives.

Mango

Mango has become my go-to place for finding interesting and high-quality jackets. Their collections are always on-trend, offering unique styles that stand out. Mango is known for its commitment to quality and attention to detail, ensuring that each piece is well-made and durable. The brand offers a diverse range of options, from classic cuts to bold, fashion-forward designs. Plus, Mango often has great sales and promotions, making it easier to find the perfect jacket without breaking the bank. With Mango, I know I’m getting stylish and high-quality outerwear that adds a chic touch to any outfit.

What’s on my list:

Good American

Good American has quickly become my go-to place for jeans. Their jeans are high quality, and they always bring fun and innovative ideas to their designs. Founded by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, the brand is committed to inclusivity and body positivity, offering a wide range of sizes to fit every body type. They focus on creating jeans that not only look great but also feel comfortable and supportive. Plus, they send coupon codes directly to your email, making it easier to snag a great deal. With Good American, I know I’m getting jeans that are stylish, durable, and designed with real women in mind.

What’s on my list:

Old Navy

Old Navy has become my go-to place for finding good basics. Whether it’s comfortable tees, versatile tanks, or reliable leggings, Old Navy consistently delivers on both quality and affordability. The brand offers a wide range of sizes and styles, making it easy to find the perfect fit for everyone in the family. Plus, they frequently have sales and promotions, so you can stock up on essentials without breaking the bank. With Old Navy, I know I’m getting dependable and stylish basics that form the foundation of my wardrobe.

What’s on my list:

H&M

H&M has become my go-to place for finding good seasonal trendy pieces. Their collections are always up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, offering stylish and affordable options for every season. Whether it’s a chic summer dress, a cozy fall sweater, or festive holiday attire, H&M has it all. The brand’s commitment to sustainability also means I can feel good about my purchases. With H&M, I know I’m getting trendy, well-made pieces that keep my wardrobe fresh and fashionable throughout the year.

What’s on my list:

While the Nordstrom Sale is undoubtedly exciting, I’ve discovered that many other retailers offer fantastic deals and unique pieces throughout the year. From high-quality jeans at Good American to stylish jackets at Mango, reliable basics at Old Navy, and trendy seasonal finds at H&M, there’s a world of fashion waiting to be explored. By branching out and shopping at different stores, I’ve found items that truly reflect my style and meet my needs. So, next time you’re tempted by the hype, remember there are plenty of great options out there to help you build a fabulous and versatile wardrobe.

Happy shopping!

XO,

Tiffany
