2. Having fun > anyone’s opinion 
3. It’s too hot for clothes. 

The only thing standing between you and the swimsuit is you.
Two accounts. Two viral moments. Same month. I ha Two accounts. Two viral moments. Same month.

I have been managing social media long enough to know that you cannot plan to go viral. That is still up to the social media gods. What you can control is what happens when it does.

My client John Exnicios creates real estate content. We had been watching his views tick up and had a feeling something was building. We created a short funny reel and watched it go from 30k views overnight to just under 275k. 145k accounts reached. About 100 new followers.

My own viral post was a carousel. It had a second wave at the 72 hour mark and ended with 325k views, 243k accounts reached, and 700 new followers.

Here is what both accounts had in common when the numbers started moving. People went straight to the account page and then to the pinned posts. A strong bio and strong pinned posts are what turn viral views into followers. You have to be ready before it happens.

While it is happening — post stories, respond to comments, and go interact with the accounts that engaged with your content. Show up like a real person.  Do not post on your grid until the content stops growing. Let the algorithm keep pushing it.

After — lean into what worked. Plan content around it. Do a reintroduction post for your new followers. They just found you so tell them who you are.

The viral moment is the beginning. Not the end.

People want the path of least resistance. If someone has to hunt for your contact information, there’s a good chance they’ll move on.

Make it incredibly easy to reach you.

Include your email address, phone number, or a direct link right in your bio so it’s visible at a glance. The fewer clicks it takes, the more likely someone is to actually contact you.

Don’t make potential clients work to give you business.

1. My real housewives tagline would be, my personality is as bold as the clothes I wear. 
2. I’m passionate about body positivity, affordable housing, a good brand kit and Diet Coke. 
3. I love basketball. All of my kids have played. I’m a huge Pelicans fan and my basketball crush just won his first NBA final. 
4. I met my husband when I was 19 at a fraternity party and we have been in love since. No one makes me laugh more than him. 
5. My body has been small, athletic, too small, big, small, big again, small again. Through all of that the person I am has always stayed the same which is why you will often hear me say, my weight is the least interesting thing about me. 
6. I started my blog We Five Kings in 2017 to keep myself busy while raising babies. In 2026 I now own two brands Tiffany King Creative and The Organized Social. 
7. I love and hate AI and if you talk to me long enough I will tell you all about it. I believe in embracing new technology while also not allowing it to completely infiltrate every aspect of our lives. And I hate when people use it as a creative tool. 
8. I loathe small talk and appreciate for deep, meaningful conversation with people. I want to connect. 
9. I am the most introverted extrovert you will ever meet. When I’m out, I’m on. When I’m home, I feel whole. My circle is small, way smaller than you would imagine. 
10. My only goal in parenting is to raise kids who are emotionally intelligent, kind and find something they are passionate about with their entire heart.
A few years ago I heard a longtime social media in A few years ago I heard a longtime social media influencer ask “does anyone even blog anymore?”

Yes. I do. Here is why.

When I first started my Instagram a mentor told me something that has stuck with me ever since. She said I needed a website to back it up. Her thought process was simple — you don’t own anything on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. You don’t control the platform. If Instagram shuts down tomorrow everything you built there is gone.

Your website is different. As long as you pay your domain, you own it. Nobody can take that from you.

Having a website has also changed the way I work with brands. I can walk into a collaboration with my website numbers alongside my social media numbers. Better than that, I can show a brand clicks on a post that are still generating traffic years after the collab ended. SEO works long after a social media post disappears from a feed. That is something Instagram alone can not give you.

You do not have to launch a full blog to get started. Start with a landing page. Your name, what you do, how to work with you. That is enough. Let it grow from there.
My website has grown with my brand over the years. I have added pages for podcasts, projects, and ecommerce as I needed them. It does not have to be everything on day one.

If you do not have a website yet, start by securing your domain. Even if you are not ready to build, own your URL.
Save this and take one step toward your website this week.

What is in my Pool and Beach Bag

This is my tenth summer as a mom, and I have the pool and beach bag game down. You know I don’t like to over pack and it is the same thing when it comes to going to the pool or beach… less is more. However, there are definitely some must haves and I want to tell you what they are.

Our summer days are spent at Pelican Athletic Club (PAC) at the pool or splash pad. It is the boys place and most of our friends have memberships so they love going there daily. P.S. If you are local PAC has a summer membership that gets you all of the club perks for three months. Plus there are a ton of summer events like Sumer Kick off, 4th of July and Dive In Movies.

Since we are in the sun daily there are a few things that are on my must have list and here they are.

Bag

The right bag is a big one. I bought this one a few weeks ago at Target and I love it. P.S. I am not a Bogg Bag girl, they remind me of Crocs.

Dock and Bay Towels – Shop Dreve’

I bought these for the entire family last summer and I am so glad that I did. They dry so quick and are small, so they are great for packing in my beach bag and even easier to fit in a suitcase.

Sunscreen

I have written about this in the past. We are avid sunscreen users, and we always use Blue Lizard. Also, this year I added these UV spot patches that let you know when your sunscreen needs to be reapplied. I also recently found this Brush on Block (BOB) and I cannot wait to use this when reapplying to my face in the summer.

Eyewear

Sunglasses and goggles. Everyone’s eyes are covered for any situation. I also started carrying eyewash or saline in my bag too. You can get a small bottle and it has come in handy a time or two.

First Aid

As soon as I became a mom of boys I stopped going anywhere without a first aid kit. It is small and fits in my purse but I have Band-Aids, Benadryl, a bug bite itch cream and Advil. It gets used a lot.

Clutch

I started carrying a clutch in my pool bag because it is an easy way to keep track of my keys. In that clutch I also have a few items like lip gloss, ear buds, hair ties, face wipes and a little case for jewelry in case I forget to take off my earrings at home. It is also big enough that I can slide my keys into it too. Perfect!
