Easter really feels like to official start of spring. Even though it has usually been warm here for a month or so before I finally feel free to wear all my white and pastels and linen. Last week I launched my Easter Dressing Guide but today we will be discussing your table and Easter menu.
A few weeks ago I spent the day taking down all of our Mardi Gras décor and replacing it with spring and Easter. I took a trip to Home Goods to see what they had to brighten up my table. There were lots of blues and yellows but the gray grabbed my attention immediately. It’s not the most overtly spring color but its soft and calming. I have growing affection for gray. The plates were the first thing I chose followed by the pitcher that pulled all of the spring theme together. I also picked up the bunny butter dish because it was pewter and played on my gray theme.
I knew I wanted a small pop of color. I should say, a whisper of color. Pink compliments gray perfectly.
Easter Dinner Menu
The last few years we have been eating Easter Dinner out. I am thinking about hosting it at my house this year just for a change and because I have been wanting to have a Sunday Dinner at my house for a while. Easter Dinner always makes me think of traditional Sunday faire like Roast and potatoes and carrots. If I was putting together my dream menu this would be it….
Herb Roasted Tri Colored Carrots
Mini Pineapple Upside Down Cakes
Hopefully I made it a little easier for you to create the perfect Easter in your home! Have a wonderful spring and looking forward to March this week!
XO,
Tiffany
