I stumbled upon the BURU site through blogger Ashley Dorough. I like a lot of what Ashley wears and I know she is always on the look out for brands who extend past traditional sizes. Even being plus size I try to showcase styles that are for everyone.
What immediately drew me to BURU were the styles and patterns of the clothing. They are cool and funky and not your typical “mom wear” for brand that boasts being for moms. The front page of their website reads Mom. Life. Styled. and they aren’t lying. The clothes are not only cute they are easy to style, care for and mix and match with your current pieces.

I picked up this top from their last collection and I styled it with a skirt I already had. I have worn the top several different ways and it is very easy to wash and wear.
Sizing.
So far all of the items I have purchased have run true to size (TTS). They have a great size chart on the site that not only has the number sizing (10, 16, 18, etc.) but also has measurements. It’s always my suggestion to use the measurements rather than the numbered sizing.
Materials.
You will be impressed what is included in their washable selection on the site. I thought it would be mostly t-shirts and joggers and things of that nature but there are mostly high end pieces that you would never think you could wash.
Pricing.
This brand is a little higher than my normal price point but I like the sustainability of the clothing as well as the quality of the material and the way the pieces are manufactured.
Shopping the site.
You can shop items by collection or by piece on the website. Some collections are more expensive than others so you may want to shop by collection if you are trying to stay under a certain price point.

I LOVE this skirt but I really want the ENTIRE outfit!
I want this dress for Christmas! It is so much fun and I have loved it in all of the color choices that have been offered. Awesome take on a classic silhouette.
This jumpsuit is perfect because you can wear it alone, with a shirt under it or with a jacket. The options are endless.
This top is a NEED item. It will literally go along with everything. Even the jumpsuit above.
Blazers are another must have items for fall. This one is great because the colors will work for just about anything.
Honestly I could buy just about anything for their page. I love it all. I am happy with everything that I have purchased from them.
