Sugar, ah, honey honey… you are my candy girl!
I love an excuse for a quick day trip somewhere especially when it is this hot outside. When the Sugar Factory asked us to come have lunch Labor Day Weekend I was all over it!
We have never been to the Sugar Factory but I have heard how amazing their desserts are and we kind of couldn’t wait to try all of the things. They are located in the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi.
We started out with the Lollipop drinks for the boys and s’mores martins for Justin and I. Fun fact…all of their drinks can be made non-alcoholic so the kids can enjoy anything on the menu.
The boys were dying to try the Rainbow sliders and I had the burger with mac and cheese. I was really impressed with the food. I assumed we were going for the sweets and the food would be secondary but the burgers were delicious.
Ok so let’s talk about dessert! We planned on doing the milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches. Well they came over and asked if we wanted to try the King Kong Sundae. We said sure not knowing what we were about to get. They asked us what song we wanted and I said anything from Trolls. So when they present this sundae the whole wait staff dances and they set off sparklers and it’s just a whole presentation.
The boys had a blast. Even when the meal was done and we thought it was over the staff brought them a bag and told them they could fill it up at the candy bar. Day made.
If you are looking for a fun experience for a birthday or celebration or just a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon this is your place. I wish we had made it a night and stayed at the Hard Rock but it was a fun road trip!
The boys are already planning a trip back for Porter’s birthday!
