CaBI’s spring line was released last month and it is spectacular. I will be highlighting a few outfits each month on the blog. This is the first outfit that I created. Even though I don’t work a traditional 9 to 5 office type job I like to do a post now and then for the working ladies. These three pieces I am highlighting today will get you from the office to a date to a wedding and more.
I was drawn to this top immediately. The embroidery was what initially caught my attention but then the buttons and neckline were also interesting. I liked that with this top, like a lot of CaBI tops, it can be worn both front and back. CaBI always gives you a look book with a world of options to style your outfits but I wanted to try something a little different. I took a risk when I decided to mix both of the floral patterns but in the end it worked.
I paired this top with the spring/summer bralette that CaBI is offering. It is substantial enough that I could have taken this top off if I was looking for a day to evening outfit. Also, the bralette and skirt could be paired with a blazer if you wanted to keep it more covered.
These three pieces would give you endless options for creating other outfits. Not to mention that all three pieces would also work in the fall and winter. One of the things I love the most about CaBI is the versatility their clothing offers with in each collection and from season to season.

Ok, so here is my sizing so you have a baseline. Top is a medium. It was a slightly loose fit so you could size down if you wanted a closer to the body fit. Bralette is a large. Fit TTS. Skirt was a medium. The fit was good I possibly would have sized up to a large just so I had a little more fabric in the front for the drape on the skirt. Overall it would be easy to order all of these pieces in your typical size if you didn’t have time for a fitting.
If you are interested in scheduling a private fitting you can contact me or Sharon directly. I cannot say enough about the attention to details she pays with her clients. If you are looking to invest in a wardrobe that will last and carry you through more than one season CaBI is what you need. They are masters of doing a lot with a little when it comes to pieces in your wardrobe.
XO,
Tippy
