It comes from unrealistic planning.

A content planning strategy should support your life and business, not compete with them. If your plan feels doable, you’re far more likely to show up consistently — and consistency is what actually builds trust and visibility.

I broke down exactly how I’m approaching content planning for 2026 on the blog, including:
• Why consistency matters more than doing everything
• How many platforms you really need
• Why weekly planning works better than daily scrambling

My @nike Cortez Bubblegum Pink sneakers are a pair My @nike Cortez Bubblegum Pink sneakers are a pair of shoes that I consider essential. They are on rotation more than any other sneaker I have in my closet and I would venture to say more than most of my other shoes. They are the perfect profile for pants, dresses and shorts. I love how cute they are with socks too.

@fashivly I vote you need the pair you were talking about on TikTok. Best sneakers I own!!
Let’s talk about January, and why it’s the perfect Let’s talk about January, and why it’s the perfect time to tweak your skin.

Cold weather, less sun, and fewer outdoor plans make January ideal for treatments that require downtime and sun avoidance. If you’ve been thinking about introducing retinol, doing laser treatments, or booking a chemical peel, this is your window.

The biggest hurdle with treatments like IPL, Morpheus8, and peels isn’t the treatment itself... it’s protecting your skin while it heals. Post-Christmas and pre-summer gives your skin the time it actually needs to recover, reset, and show results.

What I’m doing this January 👇
• IPL for sun spots and veins on my cheeks and chin
• My third round of Morpheus8 on my neck and marionette lines
• A VI Peel to finish out the month strong

I planned to start a retinol this month, but since I stacked treatments, I’m easing in slowly starting with my chest and the backs of my hands (more on that later).

January skin care isn’t about drastic changes. It’s about smart timing, intention, and setting your skin up for the rest of the year.

If “a little refresh” has been on your wishlist, now really is the time. 💆‍♀️✨

Bourbon Bury and Polo Fashion

I attended my first Bourbon Burial last week as a one month kick off to Harvest Cup Polo Classic.  I have to say I have never heard of this tradition before but apparently if you bury a bottle of bourbon upside down in the location that you are hosting an event exactly one month before you are guaranteed to have good weather.  Who knew?!?  We southerners are nothing if we aren’t superstitious.

Either way the day was gorgeous, I got to spend the day at Summer Grove Farms (which I feel like is my second home) and drink bourbon in the middle of the day so it was kind of glorious.  Here are a few pictures from the day…

Dress // Shoes // Bag // Hat

The Bourbon Bury got me thinking a little bit about what I am wearing for Polo.  I’m still not going to show y’all anything yet but I will tell you that Kylen from Au Darling is dressing me, Abby from Golden Lily is doing all my jewels and I made my hat.  I spent some time last week going around to some of the local boutiques to give you guys some great options on what to wear to polo.

Dresses

Mackenzie and Me

70488 Hwy 21 Ste 700 // Covington // 985-888-1588

This dress was my first pick at Mackenzie and Me.  I love the lace which is totally on trend for the Fall but the light cream color will pop on the green grass at Summergrove Farms.  Perfect subdued look for the day.

This blush bodycon dress is as beautiful in person as it is in pictures.  Talk about blow your mind beautiful.  I love the simplicity of the design but the off the shoulder keeps it classy but sexy.  This dress would also be a wonderful investment for the Fall.  It would be perfect for a date night or a wedding and just about anything in-between.

Third but definitely not last in my heart.  Last Fall/Winter I got a new appreciation for this deep hue of green.  It can be a neutral when done the right way and unlike blue, green really looks good on everyone.  This dress really jumped out at me because of the ruffle on one shoulder.  I feel like it a nod to the asymmetrical off the shoulder trend but still keeping both shoulders covered.  This dress would also be a wonderful investment for the fall and could be worn to work or even for Christmas.

Au Darling

3523 Hwy 190 // Mandeville // 985-624-4477

I love so many things about this dress it is hard to know where to start.  I love the beautiful blush color, lace, ruffles and sleeves.  This dress is definitely for the person who wants to stand our but still be a little demure.  Even with it’s mini hemline the sleeves will make it feel very classy and fabulous.

This was the first dress we pulled at Au Darling.  The pattern is to die for and even more jewel toned and vibrant in person.  I love that it mixes all the major colors for all and then pulls in the velvet on the sleeves.  This dress would look phenomenal with an over the knee boot or a patent leather heel.  I see endless possibilities for this beauty.

This dress was on the shelf and I wasn’t going to put it in the post until I saw the belts.  I mean this dress is the perfect example of how you can make something super simple into something super fabulous.  We used the jeweled belt in the picture but the red and black belts will also look amazing.  Plus the belts have stretch in them which means your waist will look snatched!

Paix A Vous

1901 Hwy 190 // Mandeville // 985-231-7847

There will always be something elegant and classy about black.  I love the lace, high neckline and shredded hem.  This dress is the perfect piece to wear to polo.

Blush…  Blush… and more Blush!  I love fall and I love blush for fall.  This dress is so cute and the pattern is even more lovely in person.  However I think you should buy this outfit just so you have an excuse to wear these blush velvet boots.  They are soft and luxurious and the block heel makes them wearable in your everyday life.  I can think of 10 different outfits you could wear with these boots.

On to another blush beauty.  Not only could you wear the blush boots with this too but this dress doubles as a vest.

This dress was the first one I pulled at Paix A Vous.  I saw it as soon as I walked in the door and I was envisioning it with the backdrop of the green polo fields and the white tents.  Gorgeous.  Bonus would be wearing this dress to Polo and then to a Christmas Party.

Hats

Pippa and Pearl – Great selections of fascinators both big and small.  Fast shipping and excellent service.  They also have an array of colors and shapes so you will be able to find anything that matches your polo look.

Amazon.com – The first time I bought a hat from Amazon it was a total fluke.  I needed a hat for our Polo Committee picture and I grabbed one because I knew it would ship in two days.  I didn’t expect the quality to be that great but when I got it in I was very surprised how nice the hat was.  Since then I have used them for several of my hat purchases and also for bases for hats I decorated myself.

We just are counting down the days now and just can’t wait to show you all the fun.  We will be covering the event on Facebook and Instagram and will have a full review on the blog.  Polo is October 8th so if you are wanting to go you can get your tickets here.

Hope to see you there…  Cheers!

Tippy
