Learning to love your body isn’t a linear journey Learning to love your body isn’t a linear journey and it often doesn’t have a clear and definitive end. I’ve worked for the better part of a decade on my relationship with my body. I’ve done a lot of work. I’ve honored her, encouraged her, I’ve chosen to see her as good. It’s been an intentional journey to really break down and know my body is good, just as it it.

But just when I think I have evolved past being critical of myself I go to try on swimsuits and boom I’m back. This past weekend I went to try on swimsuits. It was a last minute decision and I just popped in a store. I talked to an associate and realized she was picking things and putting them into a fitting room for me. I could feel my pulse starting to race. Initially I was frustrated with myself for feeling insecure about trying on suits but then I remembered that this is a journey. I politely told the sales associate that I just didn’t think I was ready to try on. In the kindest way she said, it’s fine, I’ll mark some things down and when you feel ready just come back.

I’m telling you this story because sometimes it’s easy to look at people who share their lives online and think they some how have mastered living themselves in a way that you can never achieve. The truth is that for many people it’s something we still struggle with from time to time.

Just remind yourself that like most things in life there is no medal for being the most secure person in the room. Give yourself grace and just repeat after me, my body is good just as it is.

Falling for Faux: Must-Have Faux Leather Pieces for a Stylish Autumn

As the autumn leaves start to paint the world with their rich hues and the air turns crisper, it’s time to start thinking about updating our wardrobes for the fall season. Among the plethora of fashion options available, faux leather stands out as a timeless and edgy choice. It not only adds a touch of sophistication but also has a unique ability to keep us cozy during the chillier days of fall. In this blog post, we’ll be exploring some of my favorite faux leather pieces for fall, ranging from leggings to shorts and jackets. These versatile staples can be dressed up or down, making them essential additions to your autumn wardrobe.

1. Leather Leggings: Elevate Your Casual Chic

Fall is the perfect season to transition from the airy comfort of summer to a cozier and more stylish look. Faux leather leggings are an absolute must-have. They effortlessly blend comfort and style, allowing you to look put-together while feeling as comfortable as if you were in your PJs.

Whether you’re pairing them with an oversized sweater for a laid-back weekend or dressing them up with a blouse and heels for a night out, faux leather leggings are incredibly versatile. Their sleek finish adds an element of sophistication to any ensemble.

2. Faux Leather Shorts: A Unique Fall Staple

While shorts are often associated with summer, faux leather shorts can be a fantastic addition to your fall wardrobe. These edgy shorts offer a unique twist to the traditional fall outfits.

Pair them with a chunky knit sweater and some ankle boots for a look that screams ‘fall chic.’ The contrast between the cozy sweater and the faux leather texture of the shorts creates a balanced and stylish ensemble that’s perfect for the transitional weather.

3. Faux Leather Jackets: The Ultimate Fall Essential

No fall wardrobe is complete without a faux leather jacket. It’s the go-to piece for effortlessly adding an edge to your look. Whether you opt for a classic biker style or a more tailored design, a faux leather jacket is a versatile layer that can be thrown over almost anything.

For a casual daytime look, wear it over a graphic tee and jeans. In the evening, layer it atop a sleek dress or even your faux leather leggings for an ultra-stylish ensemble.

Fall fashion doesn’t have to be limited to heavy sweaters and flannel shirts. Faux leather pieces, such as leggings, shorts, and jackets, can add a touch of sophistication and edginess to your autumn wardrobe. These versatile items can easily become your go-to staples for both casual and more dressed-up occasions. So, as you embrace the beauty of the fall season, don’t forget to make room for these faux leather favorites in your closet.

XO,

Tiffany
