In the spring and summer our back patio is a haven for our family. Outdoor movie nights, porch cocktails and breakfast on the veranda. Its the perfect place to spend the mornings and afternoons even on the warm days.
I started thinking about this post a few months ago and really wanted to set a summer table that would be fun and vibrant. I saw flamingo outdoor décor in many of the local shops and decided to start there. Target dollar section really helped me get the theme going providing the plates, straws and napkins. I filled in the rest from Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby. Whole Foods had some beautiful pineapples and lemons in stock and they tasted just as good as they looked.
This table would be perfect for a variety of events. Mother’s Day, bridal shower, girls lunch, birthday and so many more.
My plan is to use this as our first day of summer breakfast set up. Each year we have a big breakfast and spend the day at the pool on the first day of summer. You may be looking at me with side eyes because hello I have all boys but the flamingos are our families favorite animal at the zoo.
