Spring has Sprung… in February

Punxsutawney Phil said six more weeks of winter but he was obviously not talking about south Louisiana.  I got a sunburn and a snowball and I have to say that I am kind of loving it.  I really love all of the season because it gives me a chance to indulge in all the fashion but after the flu and the snow and Mardi Gras ending I needed a little happy and this was it.  80 and sunny all weekend!

We have officially kicked off the spring soccer season which means all of our Saturdays are filled with soccer games and getting our toes stepped on with cleats.  This coming weekend we will be out there Saturday and Sunday so I need to remember the sunscreen.

So nothing makes me think about summer more than hot pink, flamingos, snoballs and Lilly Pulitzer.  It’s like all the best things about the south…

Also, let’s talk about my hair.  Yes, it is pink.  No it was not supposed to be pink anymore.  But it is.  Because I did not listen to my very capable hairdresser when she told me by no circumstances should I put the temporary rose gold highlight spray in my hair no matter what they told me at Target.  She was right and I was wrong.

So take advantage of this warm weather and get outside and if it’s till cold where you live I am so sorry.
