So basically since the beginning of the summer I have been obsessing over lemons. First you should know that I love lemons. I almost always have a bowl of them on my table (yes 9 lemons in a bowl for you RHOC people) and I love the smell. Lemon Mint is my favorite candle at Bath and Body works. I saw a lot of lemon patters coming out at the beginning of the season but I didn’t find the PERFECT thing until recently.
My super fashionable friend Tracy and I ran into one another at VBS drop off in June. She was running out the door but was like, you really need to check out this place Wren and Ivory for you blog. Tracy is a jewelry mogul and has an eye for all things interesting and unique. If it had her stamp of approval it had mine too so I checked out their website.
I fell in love with everything I saw but I was trying to wait and not buy any more summer clothes so I subscribed to their email and followed them on Insta and waited for the perfect thing to come across my feed… and then it did. The perfect little lemon dress in mint and I almost died. It wasn’t launching until the morning… I set an alarm. I woke up and bought it immediately.
It shipped and I received it quickly. The fit was just as described online and the fabric was soft and luxurious. So the only concern I had when purchasing the dress was that they specialize in dresses that can be work while pregnant or not pregnant. I was unsure about how that was going to work. I mean immediately after giving birth I could see how this could be a huge benefit but not pregnant in the least I just wasn’t sure. The dress fit well and I cannot for the life of me tell that it could be worn as maternity.
Currently I am waiting for them to release their fall line so I can buy all the dresses. But for now here is my lemon dress…
