A lot happened in the 24 hours we were in BSL so I’m recapping them one by one. After checking in the @driftwoodmotelbsl we caught a golf cart ride with @kerrymaloney over to @100menhall for their gumbo cook-off. The sense of community at this event was undeniable as well as the love 💕 owner Rachel has for their historic property. I was amazed by all of the beautiful art hanging on the walls as well as the list of iconic performers who have taken the stage here. The gumbo was delicious but the culture was even better. @baystlouisoldtown

⭐️ A Year in Mood Boards is a series I’m starting. Each month I am putting together a mood board that will serves as a creative guideline for following 30 days. In an attempt to give myself a much needed creative hobby let’s see if I can keep this up for 12 months.
⭐️ Dopamine Dressing. I originally wrote this post last year and did a little updating this month. In the months of January and February that can be so gray dressing to improve your mood can be a great way to fight that seasonal depression.
